Software Quality Engineer

Davinci has offices in three countries based on the area of business and expertise. Together we manage to provide our clients with a wide range of services including software development, consultancy services, private cloud services and maintenance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Use your intuition and knowledge about how to break software by finding bugs, and apply this knowledge with a measurable result, impacting the quality of the software products.
• Write moderately complex code to automate test of the software.
• Work with agile development teams to develop a software quality culture and test awareness.
• Work on metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other software quality measures.
• Develop effective automated test strategies.
• Preparation of testing data.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Moderate knowledge of Java.
• Moderate knowledge of some WEB technologies and protocols (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, SOAP).
• Moderate knowledge of XML related technologies.
• Moderate knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of some testing methodologies and tools (black-box / white-box testing, alfa/beta testing, SoapUI, JMeter, JUnit, Selenium).
• Write moderately complex code to test systems – preferably in Java.
• Team player, communicative person.
• Active English.
• Intuition and knowledge about how to break software by finding bugs.
• Ability to orientate in the complex analytical and design documentation.
• Curiosity, willingness to constantly learn and improve and automate.
