ABOUT US

Davinci is an international software development and IT consultancy company. We enable lending with the use of new technologies to maximize value for our clients.

Davinci has offices in three countries based on the area of business and expertise. Together we manage to provide our clients with a wide range of services including software development, consultancy services, private cloud services and maintenance.

WHY CLOUD

A large part of our products is available as a SaaS. Our clients enjoy high-quality services at a lower price. We manage two data centers in a private cloud with hundreds of environments hosted in the Amazon infrastructure in Ireland and Germany. As a part of our 2016+ strategy, we become Amazon Consulting Partner as the first company in Slovakia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You work with data in different forms and you use SQL on a daily basis
• You are not limited to one DB platform
• You are working with the Slovak-Dutch team on the development of the data migration framework
• You are trying to automate everything
• Daily, you are working with cloud technologies
• You use programming and markup languages
• From time to time, you work on administrative tasks – accesses, installations, deployment
• We organize events for employees and their families on regular basis (international children day, Mikuláš)
• You optimize SQL code and help solve performance issues
• Communicate with people in different positions and teams

WHAT YOU NEED

• Very good knowledge of SQL – you can quickly navigate in any SQL code and you can easily seamlessly write any script
• T-SQL is an advantage, but it does not matter if you have only experience with other “flavors” of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
• You understand very well relational data (even non- relational)
• You have experience with at least one programming language
• You understand how programming languages work and what concepts they use, you know how to navigate the code and change the functionality
• You have basic knowledge PowerShell
• You have Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Cloud Formation, Glue, RDS, DMS or Aurora is a big plus
• Python, Java, YAML is a plus
• Knowledge of document NoSQL databases is welcome
• Good knowledge of English language
