Davinci was contacted 8 years ago by Swiss to develop a tailor-made application for them with an aim on business flows processing, warehouse processing, invoicing and order fulfillment. This project started in the past as a greenfield project and during 6 years of continuous development, we have reached together limits of chosen technology due to various reasons.
Devoxx Poland is an annual Java conference held in Krakow Congress Centre with over 2000 attendees. This year the organizers tried their best to improve the conference in all areas. Like last year, this year was no exception - what awaited us there were great talks, workshops and valuable learning experiences! Within this blog, we will give you a small insight as to what we've learned there and our personal experience from the conference.
Tuesday, March 27th, let the journey of my first UX conference begin. I have no experience in event-organizing, therefore I shall focus on the speakers and what I learned during Experience Conference Bratislava 2018.
In this blog, I would like to introduce to you one of my latest hobbies – Internet of Things (IoT). We will go through a short intro and then jump directly into creating some cool "things" connected to the internet. This tutorial will help you create two simple (yet very useful) creations that could make your life easier. And of course, as I’m a Cloud Specialist, we will try to "touch" the Cloud in the second guide :). Dig in.
Môj blog je o tom, aké soft skills by mal mať človek (developer, tester, deployment špecialista, atď.) v IT firme. Keďže Davinci software je prvá IT firma, v ktorej pracujem, budem písať o nás, o ľuďoch akých hľadáme a o soft skills, ktoré by mali mať.
In the previous blog, I showed you how to connect Angular application with Spring back end, also with Spring Security and JWT. In managerial circles, the activity covered by the term 'exploratory testing' has gathered something of a bad reputation. From the perspective of the uninitiated, it might seem as just random clicking and typing until something goes wrong and we can create a bug report. However, this is not the case at all.
You built your mobile application against a localhost server and now you have to ship it to client for testing against several environments (development, testing, acceptance and/or production)? Are you wondering how to do that? If so, you're at the right place.
In this blog, I would like to offer all junior testers a closer look at different projects, mainly those, which miss documentation. Follow me on this testing adventure and you may learn a thing or two. Dig in.
In my previous blog, I focused on showing the benefits and basics of Angular 2 in combination with a PrimeNG UI component library. However, majority of applications are not formed only by the front-end part (Angular 2 in this case), but also have their complex business logic, data storage and more. In my case, I decided to show the back-end using Spring framework; specifically, SpringBoot as a convention over the configuration support.
Have you ever wondered how to replicate a S3 object encrypted with KMS from one S3 bucket to a different one in a different account and region without losing encryption at REST? Since this feature is not yet supported by Amazon AWS, I proposed a solution how to accomplish this task.

Getting a promotion or bigger yearly bonus. These are things most of us would be happy to experience and hear. However, they do not come automatically. Earning them requires you to act as a professional. In Davinci, we always want to improve and find various ways to be better. This does not only include code quality but also our soft skills.
